Racestar comprises of two brothers, Richard and David van der Westhuizen, as well as good friend Grant Frerichs, all of whom have been around the MX racing scene and have raced competitively since 1992. With a couple of SA National and Regional titles between the three of them, local and international MX experience,you know they mean business.

And so, started the company you are reading about right now. Having a knack for design and arts, Richie decided to put this into good use, when he started sharing his ideas with other people. Customising everything he owned, from helmets, to bikes, he never felt satisfied until he had added his own personal flair to everything he used. And so defines the core purpose of our Company. Why look like everyone else when you have your own identity?
